Hey Guys, I have some good things to share with you, so do stay until the end of this post!This time I'll introduce you to a restaurant that serves a different kind of Asian cuisine – PLOY! PLOY is a gastronomical study in Japa-Thai cuisine, culminating from years of travel and unadulterated gluttony. After 6 months of culinary experimentation, the results speak for themselves – an entirely built from scratch menu with 60 offerings, influence that spans 4 continents and over 35 original sauces.

Chef Daniel Yong aims to illustrate the flavours that define PLOY’s evidently experimental take on Asian cuisine with a menu Ploy-er’s favour along with a sneak taste of not-yet released dishes.

Let me show you what I had on that day.

Firstly, they served me the appetizers- baby octopus! It was taste yummy and crunchy! Must try it !

1.PLOY’S Black Fried Rice RM30.50

The fried rice was cooked with the squid ink and seafood and it taste similar with what I tried at Europe trip few years ago. It also smell good because the dish was added with Thai sweet basil. The most special thing was the egg yolk in the middle of the rice. It mixed well with the black fried rice and give a good taste.

2. Grilled Lemon Grass Chicken RM26.50

There's a perfect match when chicken meets the lemon grass. The grilled chicken was juicy and crunchy enough.

3. Wagyu Beef Don RM 47.00

The Spicy wagyu beef tasted great when mixed with the teriyaki beef sauce. The other thing I love was the beef bacon egg. You have to try this if you are a beef lover.

4. Pan Fried Sea Bass with Green Curry RM37.80

This combination was not bad as the seabass was mixed well the green curry.

5. Linguine Mentaiko RM24.50

A simple Japanese-style pasta sauced with nori fish, was a large enough portion size for one person.

6. Crispy Fish Basket RM38.50

The fillets of deep fried crispy sole served in an equally crispy fish basket seasoned in Thai spices. It was quite spicy but would make you keep eating as it was very crunchy.

The restaurants' environment was quite cozy and suitable for either couples or friends. This kind of fine dining was worth the price. The food choices were varied and very special too.
