[Croatia 克罗地亚] Split 斯普利特 ,Zagreb 萨格勒布, Pula 普拉 DAY 1
CAUTION !! IT MUST BE A LONG LONG STORY
THANKS FOR WATCHING
Tell you guys , I never been heard this place before until I was in Poland (if you have followed my previous blog post). During my internship in Poland, we are planning to go travel as much as possible in Europe. The feeling is damn excited. Croatia is one of our choices and we no need to do visa. Croatia is a country which located at the central and south-east of Europe.**You will find that Croatia has a lot of tunnels when you driving on the highway. The world longest tunnel maybe in front of you (Mala Kapela tunnel).
I highly recommend to you all whoever like sea and beach ! The view there is awesome. In my planning, I had gone to the capital Zagreb , Split and Pula. We have a short time in Zagreb as our main purpose is going Split and Pula. And we hope to go the major coastal city Dubrovnik but due to lack of time and long distance from the Zagreb, we have to give up that great chance to visit Dubrovnik. Anyway, I’ll be back again and visit Dubrovnik and the Zadar ( the sea organ) !!!

I went to Croatia is by bus from Hungary. After we reach Zagreb, we grab a taxi to Avis Centre to get our car. Ya, we have rented 2 cars for going to Split and Pula. As we know, the driver seat of Europe car is different with Malaysia car. How brave we are? Haha..We took our car and used our professor’s GPS headed to Split. The driving took us about 4-hour plus to reach the destination. Along the journey, the view outside the car window was wonderful.
I know I have a sexy back..;)
Country roads, take me home,
to the place I belong
We take our lunch at one of the rest and service areas. Meanwhile, we also pump petrol at the same place. After 4 hours long drive, we finally reach Split. The view is damn stunning. It’s worth it that we spent our long drive to this place. We were amazed by this beautiful town! Then, we take our dinner at Bajamonti and proceed to Trogir (our Air BnB stay). The host apartment is quite hard to find as the house need to pass by small and narrow alley.
Our apartment is facing the sea, is a nice place to watch sunrise and sunset! The host of the apartment is very friendly although we have difficulty in communication (we use body language)! Haha… I specifically get up before the crack of dawn to see the sunrise although tired. The view is unforgettable. This picture of the sunrise still stays in my mind clearly.

DeleteI love the ocean view. And i also agree with you about the tunnels and im starting to think that Europe is the master of tunnels around the world. I remember when i was young every time my father would drive into the tunnels in Holland; my sister and i would hold our breath until we go out at the other end of the tunnels :D
