[Thailand 泰国] Pattaya Trip 5D4N | 芭提雅吃吃喝喝玩玩之旅
Hello peeps! I was so excited to tell you guys right now Airasia having direct flight to Pattaya from KLIA. Now is as low as RM179. The best month to go is November to February. Since they just started the direct flight since June , i just grab the opportunity to come to this awesome place because it just took me 2hours to go. If i have more leaves, i would rather plan to travel at pattaya for a few days and take a van go Bangkok and back to Malaysia. What's good plan right! XD
Below is my itinerary of the whole journey in Pattaya
Day 1: U Tapao International Airport > Napaanavy Restaurant > Sea Sand Sun Resort and Villa > The Glasshouse Pattaya
Day 2: Coral Island > ride motorcycle around the island > Cafe Hoping > The peak > Lunch at cafe in front of tawaen beach > Art in the Paradise > Jejuk Seafood Pattaya > The Pattaya Walking Street > Modus Pattaya Beachfront Hotel
Day 3: Sanctuary of Truth > Great & Grand Sweet Destination > Frost Magical of Siam > Amir Halal Bistro > Easy Kart.Net > Tappia Floating Cafe > Narnia Steak & Seafood > Modus Pattaya Beachfront Hotel
Day 4: Pattaya Floating Market > Nong Noorch Botanical Garden> Dinner and Shopping Terminal 21 > Tiffany Show
Day 5: Pattaya 7-11 > Back To Malaysia
DAY 1:
To be honest, U Tapao International Airport is quite small and previously only accommodated group or chartered flights. The surrounding area is largely occupied by the navy. To attract more visitors to Pattaya, Pattaya and Rayong tourism have begun promoting the city more actively. From the airport, you can book a van or taxi to the city, and we arranged a van with a tour guide!
After landing, the first order of business was to enjoy some Thai food. We headed to Napaanavy Restaurant, just 7 minutes from U Tapao International Airport. The restaurant was cozy, situated near a beachside with a swing. We ordered a feast of Tom Yum Kung, Crab Fried Rice, Scallops, Fried Fish, dessert, and much more! I managed to take some photos and loved the vibes there. With a 4.2-star rating on Google, it's definitely worth a try!
To treat ourselves even better, we booked a stay at the Sea Sand Sun Resort along with their spa package. The view was superb, and we opted for a pool suite. I assure you, you won't regret staying here. I experienced their Thai Traditional Spa Massage, where they provide a paper form to note down any painful areas of the body.
After i went to nearby cocktail bar and have a sunset view. The sunset and the beach view damn superb! You should not missed it ! After that day, we went to the glasshouse nearby the pink beach, please pin down the location! Because their coconut was really cold and refreshing. Beside this, the cafe was very instagrammable and the day and night view was very different.
Day 2
Today was the much-awaited Island Hopping Day! I packed my swimsuit and headed to Pattaya's Bali Hai Pier to catch a private speedboat to Coral Island (Ko Larn). We docked at Tawaen Beach, bustling with people, so we rented a motorcycle for just 40 baht per hour to explore the island and enjoy the sea breeze. The views from the mountain were stunning, and we stopped to capture some memorable photos.
Later, we discovered the Instagram-worthy Matata Bay Cafe, offering picturesque spots from the café down to the beach. We then rode up to the Windmill Viewpoint for a panoramic 360-degree view of the island before heading back to Tawaen Beach. The ride was steep but relaxing, and we indulged in my favorite pra kra pow dish at Chae Aim, a charming café attached to a hotel with a private pool overlooking Tawaen Beach.
After relaxing at the beach, we returned to Pattaya City for a rest and a change of clothes before heading to Art in Paradise 3D Museum. Unlike other museums, they have an app that enhances the interactive 3D art experience with Wi-Fi available throughout. Dinner was at Jejuk Seafood Restaurant, where we savored incredibly fresh seafood, especially the crab and fish, with a stunning sunset view by the seaside. A memorable dining experience rated 9 out of 10!
To end the day, we explored Pattaya Walking Street, buzzing with life and a hub for both locals and tourists. We enjoyed a walk with beer in hand, taking in the vibrant atmosphere. Before calling it a night, we stopped by a nearby 7-11 for bath bombs, a delightful end to a fantastic day in Pattaya. See you tomorrow!
Day 3
The first stop was the Sanctuary of Truth. 5 min drive from our hotel , Modus Pattaya Beachfront Resort. We were stunned when seeing the amazing structure upon arrival. Before that, i have search on the social media whereby i can wear Thai traditional costume. The reason to rent the costume inside is more convenient as nearby don't have any shop that sell this and the distance to go into the Sanctuary of Truth need about 10-15 min walk with staircase. Wearing Thai traditional costume have to be more gentle and careful as the outfit is quite tight.
Entrance Fee before 5pm: 500Baht (Adult) 250Baht (Children)
Thai Traditional Costume Rental: 400baht
Then we went to the great grand sweet destination and magical frost of siam as they are beside each other. Upon arrival, i was attracted by the ice cream shop as the weather really hot and we have grab an ice cream to chill and chat. I have my favourite matcha flavour and remember to try their durian flavour as it sold out when i was there sob. After we went into the most anticipated area with all the sweets cupcake donut and more ! I took a lot of photos as much as i can as the weather is so hot. XDDD behind the park, there is sheep farm. As the time is short, we have skip this part! Those who went there please tell me ! Then we headed to the magical frost of siam. From a colourful candyland to white snowland, we have changed our outfit to wintercoat and shoes to experience the coldness of the ice world. We managed to have a drink in ice glass at the bar. There is slide too for us to play. Damn fun and cold!
Great Grand Sweet Destination entrance fee: 120Baht
Magical Frost of Siam ticket (include all): 600 Baht (Adult) 500 Baht(Children)
After this , we are hungry and we have our lunch at Amir Halal Bistro. The Food was really nice. I love their Southern Thai Gaeng Som , pancake(like roti canai) and their Mango sticky rice! Definitely can pay a visit to this restaurant. Then we went back to our hotel to have a bath and change our outfit.
I'm headed to Easy Kart in the heart of Pattaya City. The Go Karts look pristine, and the track has a freshly polished coating that improves the cars' traction. This is my first time playing the go kart! I was so excited and can't wait to try it. Firstly we need to register in their application so that our profile will be present in the screen when we are in the race. After that , there is an instructor guiding us about SOP of go kart and the Do's and Dont's. Worry free as their helmet was always ventilated with the air via a small hole. After we start our race, i manage to finish even though i'm scare as it might hit to each other. XDD
Easy Kart Price: 699baht (Regular Kart)
Next we went to Bali Hai Pier to take speed boat to the Tappia Floating Cafe for squid fishing. Guess what ? Do you think we managed to get the squid on hook? The answer is no ! XDD Is damn difficult to fish the squid because there is a lot of people fishing for squid. HAHA. A nice experience but recommend to come during low season. There is extended net to the sea for you to capture Instagram-worthy photos of the stunning sea views and decorations on the floating café.
Our dinner time now! we went to the Narnia Seafood Restaurant (google rating 4.3) . We have ordered a few seafood and love their Narnia beef steak with special chilli sauce and the glass noodle with prawn. The ambience was so so good and worth to have a beer with food together. XDD
Thats the end of my Day 3.
Day 4
We visited the Pattaya Floating Market, another floating market unlocked! XD You can reach this market via the railway station floating market from Hualumpong, Bangkok. While it isn't as large as Damnoen Saduak, it's less crowded and offers unique activities like Thai Boxing on the water. I enjoyed the short boat ride and the local dessert, especially the delicious coconut pancake!
Entrance Fee 入门票 + Boat Ride 船票 + Welcome drink + Souvenir + Ice cream:800Baht
The most anticipated attraction was the Nong Nooch Botanical Garden, renowned as one of the top 10 most beautiful gardens in the world. I highly recommend spending at least half a day there, as the garden is enormous—nearly seven times larger than Sunway Lagoon Park. During my visit, I explored the car museum, dinosaur valley, stone forest, cactus farm, and even watched an elephant show. The park is vast, and I was particularly impressed by the dinosaur exhibit, which features over 1,300 labeled species.
At the entrance to the cultural show venue, I enjoyed some refreshing watermelon juice without sugar. Nong Nooch Botanical Garden is definitely worth a visit, and I plan to return next time I'm in Pattaya. For lunch, we dined at PLUBPLUENG RESTAURANT, which offers a buffet for guests. I tried their Thai rice noodle soup, which had a delicious flavor reminiscent of asam laksa.
Entrance fee + buffet lunch + Noong Norch Show + Elephant Show + Sightseeing Bus: 1500 baht (Adult) and 1250 Baht (Children)
Afterward, we headed to Terminal 21 for a casual dinner and some shopping. Although I didn't end up buying anything, the experience was pleasant. Terminal 21 felt much smaller compared to the one in Bangkok. However, the Japanese Yakiniku on the top floor was absolutely delicious! We had planned to enjoy dessert at After You Dessert shop, but the queue was insanely long, so we had to skip it as we needed to head to the Tiffany Show.
I was truly amazed by the effort and talent of the transgender performers in the show. According to our guide, there is an annual Tiffany's Pageant competition, and the winner, who was there that night, was incredibly popular. To take a photo with the performers, it costs 100 baht per photo.
Day 5
The day i need leave this beautiful place! I feel like 4 nights is not enough. I would come back again to explore the pattaya beach. Before heading to airport, we went to the beautiful Pattaya 7-11 whereby the shop size is quite big, and we done our last last shopping.
See you again Pattaya!
