[Vietnam 越南] Hoi An River Basket Boat Tour 水椰林竹籃船體驗 | KKDAY

Hey, travellover. Is time to share my experience in Vietnam. To experience the traditional local river basket boat,i have booked the tour at KKday website. During the booking, i had filled in the details whereby you can write up the pick up and drop off location. They have provide several transfer options between Danang and Hoi An. I choose depart from Danang and return to Hoi An.

After that,i received the e-voucher after booking. We just need to present our ticket to the driver. The driver pick up us early than the time expected. The journey from Danang to Hoi An took about 50minutes. The driver drive safely and carefully during the journey to Hoi An.

When we arrived, the local host had picked us from the entrance of the crossroad near housing area to the basket boat area. I was very exciting as this is my first time taking this bamboo basket boat. The weather was very hot and the boat driver gave us the Vietnamese conical hat.

The boat driver paddle around the water coconut forest while we are taking a lot of photos and sharon's boat driver singing song for us too.

And we get to see how they weave crafts with coconut leaves. I got myself a grasshopper ring and crown.

After that, we get to see the local fisherman to do basket boat spinning performance. I was amazed that the speed of the fisherman doing spinning.

Besides, we have watched the local fisherman how to do hand throwing net.

And then we get to try the at local fishing techniques. We just use simple bamboo stick and lala bait to catch crab. It was kinda challenging as the crab run very fast. The local was very familiar with the crab ecology and they teach us how to catch the crab easily.

Before finish the tour, the boat driver suddenly doing spinning our boat. I was so scared but keep laughing when he keep spinning. Is kinda nice experience when doing this.

We went up to the resting area to have a rest. The host has prepared us a cold towel. It really cool down our body as the weather was kinda hot. Then, we was served by the local Vietnamese dish 'Cao Lao' and the Vietnamese coffee. This lunch was included in our KKday tour too. So there is no worry to find food near the place as the option is really limited.

Overall of the trip, i will suggest you guys to choose early morning instead of afternoon as the weather kinda hot during the time( you may choose the time for pickup between 7am till 4pm). And this tour was really good as it cover transport, food and water together. And i was satisfied with tour service.
